Celebrate 4th of July in the desert

Come enjoy the best July 4th celebrations in the Coachella Valley, Here is what’s in store for the holiday in the desert:

fireworks Palm Springs California Independence day celebrationPalm Springs: Full day of events starting at 5pm at the Palm Springs Stadium, 1901 E. Baristo Road, culminating with a fireworks display at the end of the Palm Springs Power baseball game against the San Diego Force July 4th at 6pm. The firework extravaganza will begin at 9:00 pm. Free admission to the fireworks show only starts at 8 pm and attendees can bring blankets and chairs to sit on the field.

Palm Desert Civic Center Park, Fred Waring Drive and San Pablo Ave. is the place to be in the Palm Desert area. Fireworks, live music, and fun! Bring your picnic dinners, blankets, and chairs to enjoy the show. Drinks and snacks will also be on sale at the park and the neighboring Palm Desert Aquatic Center. Alcoholic beverages, smoking, and portable barbeques are prohibited. Private fireworks are illegal in Civic Center Park and throughout the City of Palm Desert. Flashlights are recommended for safety exiting the park.
