2014 Palm Springs International ShortFest

2014 Palm Springs International Shorfest The shorts are back in the desert at the 2014 Palm Springs International ShortFest, June 17-23. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, ShortFest will showcase 330 films including 84 World Premieres, 71 North American Premieres and 22 U.S. Premieres.

ShortFest is always full of surprises, emerging filmmakers and established talent alike will be in Palm Springs for a week of films and fun. Showcasing shorts directed by Chiwetel Ejiofor, Taylor Kitsch, Rose McGowan, Bebe Neuwirth, Michael Urie, and Starring Danny DeVito, Natalie Dormer, Ioan Gruffudd, Jenna Fischer, Ian Hart, Tony Hale, Rutger Hauer, Sally Hawkins, Oscar Isaac, Cheyenne Jackson, Sophia Loren, Nick Offerman, Sarah Paulson and Mark Strong.

This year, we are excited to have Taylor Kitsch (Savages, Battleship ,John Carter) visiting Palm Springs making his directing debut. His short film PIECES is about a man who realizes too late how one wrong choice can affect everyone he loves when he has only one day to pay off a gambling debt. Taylor wrote, directed, and stars in the film.

Film screenings will take place at the Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs.The complete line-up will be posted HERE on June 8 with the online box office launch on June 10.
